Due to this exciting growth, Sculpted by Aimee are looking for a HEAD OF REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE to join the growing Regulatory & Operations team based in Dublin or the UK. This hybrid role will be responsible for overseeing all regulatory, risk, and quality assurance efforts across global markets & is reporting to the Senior Head of Regulatory & Operations.
Accountabilities Include
- Own and lead our global regulatory strategy, embedding clear and practical compliance frameworks across all markets and product categories.
- Drive regulatory intelligence, keeping ahead of global cosmetic regulation changes and translating them into business processes
- Accountable for final sign-off on formulations, labels and artworks, ensuring all products meet global regulatory requirements before launch
- Implement and maintain quality systems (e.g. GMP), ensuring consistent product quality and effective management of customer complaints and adverse event reporting.
- Oversee product safety and compliance standards, including safety assessments, toxicological requirements and ingredient compliance across all markets.
- Act as a trusted regulatory partner to the business, communicating on regulatory updates & influencing decisions through clear guidance and pragmatic, risk-based recommendations
- Oversee approval of all claims, promotional and advertising content, ensuring compliance while supporting brand positioning.
- Define the global regulatory roadmap supporting international expansion & long-term commercial strategy
- Lead market entry across key regions (UK, EU, US,and other), ensuring smooth, compliant product registration and expansion.
- Build strong relationships with regulatory authorities and industry bodies, acting as the company’s regulatory representative externally.
Experience Needed
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, Chemistry, or related field.
- 12-15+ years of regulatory affairs leadership experience in the cosmetics industry
- Experience conducting safety assessments, preparing and managing PIFs, CPSRs, & product notifications.
- Strong knowledge of international cosmetic regulations (EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA, ASEAN, etc.).
- Extensive experience working with external regulatory bodies and agencies at a senior level
- Experience leading global market expansion programmes
- Experience operating at senior leadership level within a fast-growth international business
- Project management experience
